Log a Call

The “Log a Call” function is a great tool to keep track of all your notes and interactions about a contact within their activity timeline on their contact page. Conveniently, these notes are searchable and exportable when you enter them as a logged call.

To Log a Call in Lightning:
  1. On a contact's page, on the right in the activity controls, by default, the Log a Call tab is already selected
  2. Where it says "Recap your call", click in to it. This is the Subject line. The word "Call" will appear. Type your notes in the subject.
    • We suggest putting as much as possible in the Subject line because this is what will display in your activity history. Use the comments section ONLY if the entire note will not fit in the subject line.
  3. Click the Save button.
