Using the Data Import Wizard to Map and Import from your LOS

* The following instructions apply to System Administrators only *

NOTE: Your Loans tab may be named "Transactions/Properties" or "Opportunities" if you are a Jungo Lender App client or Jungo enterprise client. 

*These instructions apply to single user accounts only. There are some slight changes when importing for multiple users. Please consult a support representative if you have questions about what those changes are.

PART 1: Export your data into Excel
•    Save and open the excel map provided to you by Jungo.
•    Open your LOS, run your Jungo Report, and export to Excel
•    Open the excel file, "your data".

PART 2: Map your data
  • For this step, you will have two Excel sheets open:
    • Your Raw Data: the Excel sheet that you exported during part 1
    • Your custom MAP: the Excel sheet is a map provided to you by Jungo
  1. Open your custom Jungo Data map
  2. Open your raw data and select the data on your exported excel sheet ("your data")
    • Don’t select the header labels or any extra column.
    • Start at the top left of your page, click on the first cell of data, then on your keyboard, hold down SHIFT CTRL END (on PC) or SHIFT COMMAND RIGHT ARROW KEY, LEFT ARROW KEY (On Mac) to select the entire spreadsheet.
    • Once you have made your selection, right click on the selected area and press copy (or CTRL C (PC) or COMMAND C (Mac))
  3. Go back to your MAP to Paste your copied data
    •  There is a yellow box on your map. Right click and paste into that field (or CTRL V (PC) or COMMAND V (Mac)). It will fill out your map.
  4. Make sure all the data on your sheet is lined up.
    • If the pre-populated columns on the left go past your data, delete those lines.
    • If the pre-populated columns on the left are blank but you still have more data on the right, you will need to complete the mapping:
      • Select only one row of cells above the blank left columns.
      • Take your cursor to the bottom right corner of the small selection you just made.
      • When your cursor turns to a black plus sign, double click.
  5. Save your mapped data
    • Click “File” and “Save As.” *(Don’t do a regular save!)*
    • Rename your file (i.e. Jungo Import 7-31-18).
    • Change the file type from an “Excel Workbook” to “CSV (comma delimited)”

PART 3: Import your Contacts:
 
  • First, copy and paste your data in the excel map provided by Jungo per Part 2 above.
  • Don’t forget to Save the excel list as a CSV file!
  1. To import your contacts click on "Custom Links" on the Utility Bar at the bottom of the page, then click "Data Import Wizard" (If operating in Classic, click on "Data Import Wizard" on the left of the page under Custom Links)
  2. Scroll down, and click the dark green button that says "Launch Wizard".
  3. Select: Accounts and Contacts
  4. Select: Add new and update existing records
    • Match Contacts by and Match Accounts by will auto-populate. Do not change these.
    •  Do not check "Update existing Account information" checkbox
    •  Leave "Which Contact field in your file do you want to match against to set the Contact: Referred By lookup field?" BLANK
    • Leave "Which Contact field in your file do you want to match against to set the Contact: Realtor (for Co-Branding) lookup field?" BLANK
  5. Click and drag your CSV file to upload or click on CSV to browse your computer for your file.
  6. Click Next
    • To edit any mappings or to map custom fields click Change next to each field
  7. Click Next
  8. Click Start Import
  9. Click OK
PART 4: Import Loans (or Transactions):
  1. Navigate back to the Data Import Wizard
  2. Scroll down, and click the dark green button that says "Launch Wizard".
  3. Select: Custom Objects
  4. Scroll Down and select "Loans" (or "Transactions / Properties")
  5. Select: Add new and update existing records
  6. Match by: Name
    • Which User field in your file designates record owners?
      • Leave on None if one user account
      • Select Name if multi-user account
    •  Select "Contact Name" from the drop down for ALL of the additional related contact lookups that you are importing
  7. Click and drag your CSV file to upload or click on CSV to browse your computer for your file.
  8. Click Next
    • To edit any mappings or to map custom fields click Change next to each field
  9. Click Next
  10. Click Start Import
  11. Click OK
